Family Drug is in the same shopping center on Old Sonoma Road where it first opened in 1952 and maintains its reputation for helping the community. Mary Doud originally opened Family Drug and was later joined in 1976 by Pharmacist Tom Gracia, the current owner. Tom and his staff continue to support the Napa community. Besides a complete OTC department including vitamins and first aid specialty bandages, we have greeting cards, many fine gifts, ostomy supplies and our newest department is Home Medical Equipment. Here we have sickroom supplies, braces for all needs, compression hoses, walkers and lift chairs and many aids for daily living. Some of the other programs that Family Drug participates in include Hospice of Napa Valley, California Children Services, the CHDP program, community outreach program, and the HIV Network just to name a few. This year we will start offering Flu vaccines for our patient's convenience. Family Drug has always offered prescription delivery and continues to serve the sick and elderly, who cannot get out, with this service. Tom Gracia and his staff truly do live up to the name "Good Neighbor Pharmacy".
